The farm arises in the “Serravalle” district, in the countryside of “Chiaramonte Gulfi”, at the center of the DOP “Monti Iblei” region, “Gulfi” sub-zone.

The farm, being part of a larger estate, for centuries belongs to the family of the present owner and up to the eighteen hundreds was a typical “all-embracing” farm, where grapes, olives and carobs were cultivated.

After World War I , the present owner’s grandfather re-arranged the part that he owned (the present farm) and became specialized in olive and carob cultivations. And the firm at the present is in this agricultural condition; in the last few years an irrigation system has been applied only to the olive trees.
The total surface of the farm is about twenty hectares, the olive trees are about one thousand.
